The 15,000 square foot space was situated in a 1960’s office tower designed by SOM. The implementation of cherry wood, limestone, stainless steel and natural organic forms - birch branches in white sand assist in creating a peaceful environment. Offices wrap the exterior walls and circulation paths overlook the Brooklyn Bridge. Glass boxes serve as conference rooms with natural cherry masses piercing through them. The library overlooks the scenic views of Manhattan. Organic white sand boxes are situated throughout the space and assist in delineating quiet reading zones
